FDY (Fully Drawn Yarn), also known as fully drawn yarn, is a  PP yarn  spinning process. The production process of polypropylene FDY usually includes steps such as melt spinning, cooling forming, heat setting, deformation stretching, upright stretching, and spinning tubes. Throughout the production process, controlling process parameters such as temperature, stretching ratio, and stretching speed are crucial and have a decisive impact on the quality of the silk thread.

Polypropylene FDY yarn is mainly used for various types of filter fabrics, such as industrial pads, geotextiles, lifting belts, cables, communication cables, woven belts, luggage belts, ropes, wigs, etc. In addition, polypropylene FDY filament can also be used in the manufacturing of textiles such as fabrics, knitwear, socks, as well as FDY fabrics and ATY fabrics.
