Polyester filament is widely used in clothing, decoration and other fields due to its unique style. With the continuous improvement of spinning technology and people's pursuit of clothing comfort and diversity, the quality requirements for it are also increasing. However, due to limitations in DTY production process control and testing methods, some quality issues of DTY only become apparent during the weaving process. Tracking the after-sales service situation of a certain company in the past three years, the quality issues that customers have provided feedback on are mainly color difference, stiff silk, fuzz, unwinding, network, and others. The proportion of these issues is shown in Figure 1 Quality Problem Ratio Chart.

These quality defects may be caused not only by factors such as weaving, dyeing and finishing processes, and equipment, but also by DTY raw materials. Increasing testing efforts, continuously improving the quality of DTY, and providing customers with satisfactory products are the directions for our future continuous improvement efforts.
