The main uses of polypropylene high strength filament can be classified into the following four categories:
(1) Application of polypropylene high strength filament in rope and mesh
Ropes made of high-strength polypropylene fibers and nets used in construction, transportation, agriculture, fisheries, and sports activities have high fracture strength, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and are lightweight and safe.
(2) Application of Polypropylene High Strength Filament in Thread Industry
Polypropylene yarn made of high-strength polypropylene yarn is mainly used in sewing cement bags, fertilizer bags, plastic woven bags, fishing net weaving and other industries because of its low price, high strength, anti-aging, wear resistance, seawater corrosion resistance, good elasticity and other characteristics.
(3) Polypropylene high strength filament / UV resistant polypropylene high strength filament applied to fabrics
The geotextile woven with high-strength polypropylene fiber is suitable for engineering projects such as highways, railways, airports, seawalls, waterways, reservoirs, harbors, and bridges. It has the advantages of fast speed, high efficiency, low investment, and good quality, without the need for navigation interruption, cofferdam construction, and dam drainage. Especially in situations with high load-bearing capacity, machine woven geotextile has many unique features compared to non-woven geotextile. By utilizing its advantages of acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, high strength, non water absorption, light weight, good stability, and good filter material peeling, high-strength polypropylene filter cloth can be made, mainly used in industries such as metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical industry, light industry, food, and environmental protection.
(4) Polypropylene high-strength filament used in belt class
By utilizing the high strength, light weight, and high fracture strength of high-strength polypropylene twisted yarn, flexible container bags, safety belts, high-pressure fire hoses, and other products with high safety requirements can be made.
