Polypropylene, as a rising star in synthetic fibers, has seen a rapid development in recent years due to its superior product performance. Among them, polypropylene FDY silk, which is processed from polypropylene as raw material, is widely loved by the public for its webbing production! The reason for this is that polypropylene FDY yarn has the following advantages when used to make webbing:
1. The webbing is lightweight. Because the specific gravity of polypropylene fiber is 0.91, it is currently the lightest of all fibers. Therefore, with the same weight of fibers, the coverage of polypropylene fibers is wider, so the woven belt made of polypropylene FDY yarn is very lightweight and easy to use and carry.
2. The webbing is wear-resistant and durable. Polypropylene FDY yarn has high wear resistance, acid and alkali resistance, so the woven tape produced has high wear resistance and is not easy to break.
3. The ribbon is insect resistant and easy to clean. Polypropylene fiber has good wicking effect, and after washing the ribbon, it is breathable and quickly dried. Worms do not have a suitable growth environment and are therefore easy to preserve.
4. Polypropylene FDY silk is a warmer fiber than wool: its thermal conductivity is lower among existing natural and synthetic fibers, and its heat loss rate is also lower.
5. Polypropylene FDY yarn has excellent color fastness: When dyed in the original solution, the color fastness is incomparable to other fibers after dyeing and finishing.
Polypropylene FDY yarn is not only used for mid to high grade webbing, but also widely used in the production of handicrafts, edging, luggage, thread rope, and Christmas tree luggage.
