Ring spun yarn or ring spun yarn is made by twisting and diluting fiber strands. Most staple fibers are produced using ring spinning because ring spinning is one of the oldest spinning processes. In this spinning process, short fibers are twisted into yarn, which is then wound onto a bobbin for storage. Around a fixed surface, the loop rotates and wraps itself around the bobbin. In this spinning process, the yarn produced has little wool and has glazing property.
The fiber material is provided in the form of roving in the ring spinning machine. The mass of the fibers is then reduced with the help of a drafting device. Then, in a concentric spiral path, the fibers wrap around each other, enhancing the adhesion between the fibers. The twist is then inserted into the yarn by spinning the spindle, which is then wound around the bobbin. The three processes of roving, twisting and winding are continuous and simultaneous. To provide the specific shape of the yarn packet, the bobbin, there is a loop that controls the up and down motion. The ring spinning method can produce different yarn counts.
