What is moisture regain?
The moisture regain rate of textile materials when they reach equilibrium under standard atmosphere is called standard moisture regain rate. The actual moisture regain rate of each fiber and its products varies with the temperature and humidity conditions, in order to compare the moisture absorption capacity of various textile materials, it is compared with the moisture regain rate (standard moisture regain rate) measured after a specified time (balance) under unified standard atmospheric conditions.
