Polypropylene hollow yarn is a kind of chemical fibre yarn with hollow structure made from polypropylene (PP) as the main raw material through special spinning and spinning process. 

From the raw material point of view, the polypropylene it adopts is a polymer obtained from propylene monomer through polymerisation reaction, which is lightweight, corrosion-resistant and of high strength. In the production process, through the precise control of spinning process parameters, such as temperature, pressure, nozzle design, etc., the polypropylene melt is extruded to form fibres with hollow channels inside, and these hollow fibres are then twisted, merged, and other spinning processes to finally form polypropylene hollow yarn. Its unique hollow structure gives the yarn a series of special properties, such as good warmth, moisture absorption and perspiration brought about by the core suction effect, lighter weight and a certain degree of elasticity, etc., so that it has a wide range of applications in many fields such as apparel, home textiles, industrial fabrics and so on.
